With the increased danger of global climate change and the importance of carbon emissions reduction and sustainable development, it is clear that the strategy for handling those issues must include addressing carbon emissions from vehicles. Any sustainable development strategy must include a plan to reduce dependency on petroleum and gas fueled vehicles and replace the demand with electric vehicles. A well laid out strategy must include the development of the necessary infra-structure to accommodate the expected demand increase, including availability of the vehicles, a national network of charging stations and maintenance facilities.
